Sierra Leone’s response to COVID-19

This working paper of the Sierra Leone response to COVID-19 is part of a COVID-19 series of publications from Maintains.

Sierra Leone was one of the last countries in the world to be affected by the pandemic. It has built on its experience of managing Ebola, but has faced a series of institutional and operational challenges that have influenced the response efforts to COVID-19. This rapid study reviews efforts in the first three months of the outbreak, exploring challenges and offering insights for Maintains and others wishing to support the response.
