Sierra Leone was one of the last countries in the world to be affected by the pandemic. It has built on its experience of managing Ebola, but has faced a series of institutional and operational challenges that have influenced the response efforts to COVID-19. This rapid study reviews efforts in the first three months of the outbreak, exploring challenges and offering insights for Maintains and others wishing to support the response.
