This research plan summarises the research which the Maintains education team in Uganda will carry out over the next 3 years (2020-2023). The research focuses on the Education Response Plan for Refugees and Host Communities (ERP) and how its existence has impacted education services delivery for refugee and host communities alike. Findings from the research will aim to provide lessons and support for further policy in regards to education and shock responsiveness. The COVID-19 pandemic will cause the already significant numbers of people who do not have enough to eat to rise, with predictions that some 265 million people could be pushed into acute food insecurity. This rapid literature review explores strategies to address the short and longer term impacts of malnutrition caused by the pandemic.
